Protective Security Officer (PSO) Services - Southern Florida

This is a pre-solicitation notice. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Services (FPS), has a requirement for armed guard services at federally owned and leased facilities throughout Southern Florida. This requirement will be filled through award of a single fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a base period of one year and four option periods of one year each. Services are expected to start October 1, 2009. The procurement will be restricted to small businesses certified under the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) program. Award will be made using best value source selection procedures incorporating tradeoffs between price related and non-price related factors. The NAICS code is 561612, Security Guard and Patrol Services, size standard $18.5 million. This solicitation will be available upon request on or about February 23, 2009.
