Armed Security Guards - DR-4303-NV

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," and FAR 13.5, "Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items," as supplemented with addition information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation with quotes are being requested. This solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ). This RFQ provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-95 dated January 13, 2107. This requirement is for Armed Security Guard Services to provide security services at the Joint Field Office (JFO) in support of DR-4303-NV in Carson City, NV. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) uses contracted armed security guard services to safeguard federal employees, visitors, and property at the JFO during disaster and emergency declarations. All interested companies shall provide quotes for the required services as described in Attachment 1 (Statement of Work) and Attachment 2 (Pricing Worksheet). Period of performance will be for an initial 75 days, with three (3) one-month options. Offers are solicited only from small businesses residing or primarily doing business in the Nevada Counties of: Douglas, Lyon, Storey, and Washoe; the independent city of Carson City; and the Nevada Tribes of: Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, the Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California (located in NV ONLY). Offers received from other businesses shall not be considered.
