Nevada Fire Shows West Conference and Expo

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends to solicit a quotation on a single source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, 107 Jacobson Way Carson City, NV 89711 to provide sponsorship of the conference for local emergency planning committee (LEPC) members, and inter-tribal emergency response commission (ITERC) members at the Fire Shows West Conference and Expo (https://fireshowswest.com/index.html) November 6-9, 2017. The service is an annual conference that provides training, networking and hands-on learning opportunities to all employees in hazardous materials emergency response related fields of employment. It brings together many of the most qualified and experienced instructors and experts in the hazardous materials field. Various courses are offered during the conference, giving new participants, as well as highly trained professionals in the emergency response field, new and useful knowledge. The Nevada State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) has a long history of supporting first responders in Region IX. Fire, Police, and Emergency Managers from states, tribes, and territories all count on the latest training to help the respond to a disaster. The partnership between FEMA and NV SERC has provided a strong relationship. There is no other training within the state of Nevada and the best option for first responder training is the Nevada Fire Shows West Conference and Expo. In accordance with FAR 5.207(16)(i), all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by FEMA. Quotes in response to this notice shall: 1. Submit technical approach to provide for a Workshops that meet or exceeds the services provided at the Fire Shows West Conference and Expo (https://fireshowswest.com/index.html). 2. Includes the depth and breadth of instructors available at the Fire Shows West Conference and Expo. 3. Located within FEMA Region IX - NV. 4. Past Performance information for production of similar workshops (size and subject). Provide 3 points of contact with description of conferences provided. 5. Pricing for 25 students to attend. Quotes for consideration are due no later than 10:00 AM Pacific, Monday, July 10, 2017.
