Furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials, except for specified Government-furnished property, to build 270 rods of four strand barbed wire fence, 8 sections jack & rail fence; construct stress panels, build gates. There will be some clearing and falling of trees. There are 5 line items on the bid schedule: (1) Barbed Wire Fence (4 wire) construction, 270 rods; (2) wire gates, 5 each; (3) Set Wood Posts, 34 each; (4) Set Brace Rails, 23 each, (5) Set Jacks & Rail, 8 sections. Work under this contract is located in Silver Bow County, Montana, approximately 22 miles south of Butte, MT. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The period of performance will be 35 days after notice to proceed is issued. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment protection will be due PRIOR to issuance of the Notice to Proceed and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. A tenative Site tour has been set for May 12, 2009 at 10:00. Additional information on the Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation. Prospective contractosr must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representatiions and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award.
