To enter into a new lease for approximately 8,209 rentable (7,138 occupiable) square feet of space for Department of Homeland Security, Detention and Removal Operations, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE/DRO). The lease term will be 5 years (2 year firm. The agency urgently needs temporary space, on a short-term basis, to handle their rapid growth in FTE. The space must be located as closely as possible to their existing location to meet coordinated operational needs of the agency. Only one building is within walking distance from their existing location that can immediately accommodate their space requirement. Locating beyond that distance diminishes the operational capabilities of the agency in addition to adding travel, time and lost productivity costs.
