68--This procurement is being solicited to support the laundry chemical requirement needed aboard MCRD Parris Island

This requirement is requested for the purposes of maintaining Laundry Chemical capacity/inventory for the Depot Laundry Facility here aboard MCRD Parris Island, SC. This procurement is being conducted under the provision of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements contract for one base year with (4) four 12 month option periods. The contract will be awarded to a qualified independent contractor for purpose of providing the laundry liquid chemical requirement.
