Repairs to Refrigeration Units

The Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center (MCMWTC) located in Bridgeport, CA is seeking information from industry in order to identify contractors capable of performing repairs necessary on six (6) refrigeration units located at the MCMWTC Messhall building. MCMWTC is requesting input from contractors based on the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO). Interested parties are requested to respond to the following questions: Regarding your business: 1. Name, Address, Point of Contact, Contact Information 2. Small business status. The size standard for this RFQ is $7.0 million under NAICS code 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. Regarding the SOO: 1. Are the Government objectives clearly stated? 2. Does the SOO contain enough information to submit an RFQ without a site visit? If not, what additional information is needed? 3. Would you be willing to attend a site visit? MCMWTC is remotely located 5 miles East of the US 108/395 Hwy junction; approximately 43 miles south of Garnderville, NV and 24 miles north of Bridgeport, CA. 4. What is a realistic timeframe to complete the repairs? 5. Any additional information that may benefit the Government for market research purposes. This Request for Information (RFI) does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Request for Quote (RFQ); all businesses are invited to respond to this RFI. Any information received is considered Market Research and may be utilized by the Government to assess the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to issuing an RFQ. The Government will not respond to or conduct formal debriefings to businesses as part of this RFI. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this RFI. Responses to this RFI will not result in a contract and will not obligate the Government in any way.
