This is a pre-solicitation notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Synopsis will be as follows. A separate written solicitation M67400-08-R-0009 will be issued upon determination. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. DPAS Rating is DO-C9D. The North American Industrial Classification System codes are 238220 and the business size standard is NTE 5.5 million. Required Item and Descriptions are as follows. ITEM NO 0001Qty: 1/lotHardware Supply (Base Year FY2009), ITEM NO 1001 Qty: 1/lot Hardware Supply (Option Year One FY2010), and ITEM NO 2001 Qty: 1/lot Hardware Supply (Option Year Two FY2011). THIS PROJECT WILL BE PERFORMED IN ITS ENTIRETY IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN, OKINAWA PREFECTURE. AWARDS CAN ONLY BE MADE TO FIRMS LICENSED TO OPERATE IN THE COUNTRY OF JAPAN. ROUTINE DELIVERY: WITHIN THREE TO SEVEN DAYS, URGENT DELIVERY: WITHIN 48 HOURS, AND EMERGENCY DELIVERY: WITHIN 24 HOURS WILL BE REQUIRED. The Government may make multiple awards to the responsible offer(s) which is/are the most advantageous to the Government on the basis of best value evaluation process. The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. Responsible Offerors must be active in the Central Contractor Registration in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004 unless you qualify under an exemption. DUNS, TIN and CAGE Code must be written on submitted proposal.
