Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a 3 year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), supply contract. Piezoelectric Ceramic Element Part Number 8347999-1 per NAVSEA Dwg No. 8347999 in accordance with Sensor Technology Ltd of Collingwood Ontario Canada, P/N: 532 2375 0562 500K listed on the solicitation for a minimum of 100 each, and maximum of 1,000 each. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate for only one part number, Sensor Technology part number 532 2375 0562 500K. Previous acceptance testing has been conducted over a 2 year period and Sensor Technology was the sole manufacturer providing product meeting the Government’s acceptance criteria. The Government has concluded that conducting additional Acceptance Testing would entail a substantial duplication of cost and a substantial time delay both of which preclude further competitive efforts. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government’s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the solicitation attachments. Information about the JCP is located at http://www.dlis.dla.mil. The solicitation attachments will be posted to FedBizOpps at the same time the solicitation is posted.
