44--LIQUID CONDITIONING UNIT (LCU) TO PROVIDE LIQUID COOLING AND HEATING CAPACITY FOR BLOCK 2 AN/SLQ-32 V (6) SYSTEMS

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement to procure a Liquid Conditioning Unit (LCU) capable of providing dual-loop liquid cooling via non-refrigerated liquid as well as provide a modest heating capacity. Detailed specifications will be provided upon issuance of solicitation. The contractor will deliver an quality assurance program encompassing all tests and verifications necessary to demonstrate conformance to specification requirements. Final testing will be observed or separately performed at NSWC Crane by the NSWC Crane technical team. We expect the following CLIN structure: CLIN 0001: Design & Manufacture of Engineering Development Model (EDM) – Qty. 2 CLIN 0002: Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) units – Qty. 13 (max) CLIN 0003: Delivery of data The Government anticipates award of a modified commercial, firm ?fixed price, indefinite-delivery indefinite quantity contract with delivery of EDMs no later than 12 February 2013 and delivery of LRIPs no later than 90 days after receipt of order. Expected delivery will be FOB destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47722. Solicitation N00164 ?12 ?R ?WM51 will be issued as a restricted competition, 100% small business set ?aside. Interested persons may submit a capability statement or proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. All responsible sources may submit a response which shall be considered by the Agency. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO website does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format.
