The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract for data reduction on measured propagation and atmospheric data as required by the United States Naval Academy. The services will be acquired in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.3 – Other Than Full and Open Competition, FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The requirement will include a base period of performance of 23 December 2013 through 31 March 2014. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541712 – Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences; the Size Standard is 500 employees.
