ON-CALL INSPECTION, MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICE OF GOVERNMENT OWNED FIXED WING AIRCRAFT THROUGHOUT ALASKA

Solicitation N10PS35009 seeks contractors to provide maintenance services in accordance with the specifications found in AMD Operational Procedures Memorandum No. 06-AR-01 dated 2/1/2006 for Government-owned aircraft located throughout Alaska in support of Fleet Services, Alaska Regional Office, Aviation Management Division, National Business Center. Services will be performed in accordance to standards set forth in 14 CFR 39, 43, 91 and 145 and all manufacturer's service manuals, instructions and service bulletins relative to each aircraft. These services will be procured under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to award multiple fixed priced on-call (when needed) contracts, with no guarantee of services requested, relative to the anticipated volume and support needs of particular models of aircraft. The contractor shall possess either a FAA Repair Station Certificate or work must be performed by FAA Certified Airplane and Power Plant Mechanics, including inspections by those having a FAA Inspector's Authorization. The contracts include Government unilateral options of renewal for an additional one year. Potential duration of the contracts could be two years. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is November 09, 2009 with a projected closing date of December 9, 2009. It is a requirement that the successful awardees be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
