Aircraft Propeller Maintenance Service

Solicitation N10PS35010 seeks contractor's services to provide for the overhaul or repair of Government-owned aircraft propellers; current models Hartzell, McCauley, and Sensenich in support of Fleet Services, Alaska Regional Office, Aviation Management Division, National Business Center. Services will be performed in accordance to standards set forth in 14 CFR 39, 43, 91 and 145, applicable FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (AD) and all manufacturer's service manuals, instructions and service bulletins relative to each propeller. These services will be procured under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to award multiple fixed priced on-call (when needed) contracts, with no guarantee of services requested, relative to the anticipated volume and support needs of particular models of propeller. The contractor must be a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Aircraft Propeller Repair Station and hold a valid FAA repair station certificate for overhaul and repairs of all propellers offered services. The contracts include Government unilateral options of renewal for an additional two years. Potential duration of the contracts could be three years. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is November 24, 2009 with a projected closing date of December 23, 2009. It is a requirement that the successful awardees be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
