Z--8A IDIQ CONTRACT FOR DESIGN BUILD/DESIGN BID BUILD GENERAL CONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR/RENOVATION PROJECTS AT AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT, NAVAL WEAPONS STATION, YORKTOWN, VA

This acquisition was awarded as a Sole Source Award to an 8(a) certified firm in accordance with the Small Business Act, Section 8(a), (15 U.S.C. 637 (a)) Business Development Program. This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because a statute exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source or through another agency (FAR 6.302-5); specifically, sole source awards under the 8(a) Program. Per FAR 6.302-5 a J and A is not required for this award. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, services, equipment, and supervision to accomplish the work in accordance with Solicitation N40085-14-R-6405, 8(a) IDIQ Contract for Design Build/Design Bid Build General Construction and Repair/Renovation Projects at Areas of Responsibility of the Public Works Department, Naval Weapons Station, Yorktown, Virginia, effective for a base period of one (1) year from the date of Contract Award. The Contract also includes two (2) One-Year Options to be exercised at the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Indefinite Quantity Work will be ordered at the prices offered by the issuing activity using a DD Form 1155 (Task Order), Orders for Supplies and Services.
