R706 - Mission support services in Lao Peoples Democratic Republic (PDR) for the Defense Prisoner of War Missing in Action Accounting Agency (DPAA)

This acquisition is for mission support services in Lao Peoples Democratic Republic (PDR) for the Defense Prisoner of War Missing in Action Accounting Agency (DPAA) to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans missing as a result of past conflicts. DPAA plans to conduct up to five (5) missions per year in Lao PDR to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans missing as a result of previous conflicts. Three (3) missions last up to 35 days and two (2) other missions last up to 45 days. Additional missions may be added due to operational requirements with each mission being in duration up to 45 days. The various mission sites are located throughout Lao PDR. DPAA may require the supplies and services described herein to support these efforts. The proposed acquisition is for a Firm-Fixed-Price Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for five years and six months (base and four option years and six months extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8). The base year will begin on 1 December 2021 through 30 November 2022. Pursuant to FAR 5.202(a)(12), this is a non-mandatory synopsis. This solicitation is intended only for sources duly authorized to operate and do business in Lao PDR as prescribed by DFARS 225.1103(3). In order to be considered for award, U.S. vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to do business in the Far East OCONUS region. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY.
