KEIZER HEAT INDUCTION REPAIR CONTRACT

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed IDIQ contract, to Keizer Technologies, Inc. 10908 S. Pipeline Rd., Euless, Texas 76040. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be 06/15/20 through 6/14/23. CLIN 0001 REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF RPR 1650 INDUCTION STRIPPING SYSTEMS The contract will provide for Keizer Technologies, Inc, the OEM, who has proprietary information necessary, to make the repairs and maintenance of the equipment, at their site. They can guarantee their work, as they are the manufactures, service providers. NAICS code: 811310-- Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance (SBA Size Standard $8 Million) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, a quote, and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than June 8, 2020 12 PM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than June 5, 2020 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements
