UARC-Immersive Virtual Environment

The Chief Technology Office of the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD), China Lake, California, issued a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) University Affiliated Research Center (UARC) contract with the University of Southern California (USC) Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT), which will utilize FAR Subpart FAR 6.302-3, for the acquisition of non-personal support services for basic research, applied research, advanced technology development, collaborative research, and technology transition. This acquisition is under NAICS Code 541715 with a size standard of 1,000. The products applicable to this procurement are of a research and development nature, and thus relatively unknown. The Government intends to utilize the lot unit of issue at the basic contract CLIN level with the delivery schedule specified for each Delivery Order. NAWCWD China Lake awarded the IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period, with an option for a possible 5 additional years. Delivery will be FOB Destination. Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) will be utilized for payment during the life of the contract.
