Beryllium Nuclear Reactor Neutron Reflector Components

PSC: 4470 Nuclear Reactor NAICS Code: 332313 Plate work manufacturing Full and Open Competition The NASA Glenn Research Center has a requirement for Beryllium nuclear reactor neutron reflector components. The units will be for the testing of new space reactor technology. NASA GRC seeks to award a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract pursuant to NASA FAR Supplement provision 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and FAR Part 12. NASA GRC requests proposals pursuant to the instructions below. - The ordering period is expected to be October 1, 2016 through December 31, 2017. - Offeror's should provide per unit order pricing for calendar year 2016 and 2017. - Please provide the following pricing o Price per unit with estimated time for delivery. o Price per unit in bulk with estimated time for delivery. o Any other additional unit or service pricing by unit or labor hour. o Please itemize any discounts or credits to the Government in the proposal. - Shipping will be FOB Destination. GRC intends to order the following amount of each reflector component during the ordering period. However, the exact quantity to be ordered is not certain. Evaluation-Commercial Items (Oct 2014) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the technical requirements of the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government.
