R--DRAFT RFP - KSC PROTECTIVE SERVICES CONTRACT

NASA/KSC is releasing a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the KSC ProtectiveServices Contract (KPSC). Previous releases regarding the KPSC were issued under sourcessought NNK11361110L and NNK11361110La. The Interim Protective Services Contract is the incumbent contractor, under NNK09OX01C,to Space Gateway Support, LLC, Cocoa Beach, Florida.The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. NASA/KSC intends to award a singleFirm Fixed Price contract with a five year period of performance. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561612 and $18.5 Million respectively.The DRFP is not a solicitation and the Government is not requesting proposals. Thispre-solicitation synopsis is for planning and information purposes only.
