Continuous Integration Configuration Management (CICM)

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for Continuous Integration Management Support (CICM) in support of the Enterprise Configuration Management Division (NAICS code 54159 - Other Computer Related Services) for a period of 18 months, with an estimated value of $10 million dollars. The anticipated award date is January 23, 2015. As a result of USPTO's exemption from the Competition in Contracting Act, the above requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method in accordance with Patent and Trademarks Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG) Part 6, https://federalregister.gov/a/2013-24316 ,and the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act 35 U.S.C.2(b)(4)(A). In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO publicized this requirement as a Request for Information (RFI) PROC 1500139 on November 12, 2014, through a special notice and the results indicate that only a limited number of vendors are most likely to successfully meet the agency's needs. As a result, the solicitation will only be issued to a limited number of known qualified vendors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
