Probaris Software Licenses and Maintenance

PTAG Part 6.1.1 Synopsis - Non-Competitive The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement to purchase additional Probaris Technologies, Inc. software licenses and maintenance ("Probaris ID" for Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12) credential sponsorship, enrollment production and management).The maintenance includes patches and fixes related to policy changes and security updates. The USPTO also intends on adding the maintenance of 14,000 software licenses to the resulting award in the out years. In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO conducted market research and the results indicated that Probaris Technologies, Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and developer of the software and is the only source capable of meeting the Government's requirements. The USPTO intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order for the purchase of software licenses and maintenance utilizing NAICS code 541519 to Probaris Technologies, Inc. located at 1880 John F Kennedy Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19103 with an estimated total contract value of $787,737.50, to include a base year and four (4) one-year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals nor will a solicitation be issues.
