Q -- Radiology Technician - FCI Big Spring

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue a solicitation RFQ50302-0019-07 for the provision of Radiology Technician service for the Federal Correctional Institution, located in Big Spring, Texas. The contractor shall provide Radiological Technician services for the inmate population in a correctional setting. The Radiology Technician shall meet the minimum education qualification of (1) Being fully licensed by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist, (2) Being certified in Cardio - Pulmonary Resuscitation, in accordance with the American Red Cross. Quoters shall include with their solicitation packet verification of all the required credentials. It is estimated the contract will include eight (8) sessions per day Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays. A sessions is defines as one hour in duration and the estimated total session per year is 2080. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12- month option periods for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be available on or about November 9, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov . The site provides downloading instructions. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must register at www.ccr.gov. All future information about this solicitation, including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is 2:00 P.M. CT December 03, 2007 however, this is a projected estimate and quoters should refer to the solicitation (1449 -Block #08) for the actual date quotations are due. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith -Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
