Solid Waste Removal - FCI Loretto

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make an award to a responsible offeror for the provision of Solid Waste Removal at the Federal Correctional Institution (hereinafter referred to as FCI) Loretto, Pennsylvania. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from the date of award through 12 months, and four one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the government. The Contractor shall furnish, install, and maintain all equipment inside the secure perimeter. More details will be available in the forthcoming solicitation. The Contractor is solely responsible for full compliance with all Federal State, Local, and Bureau of Prisons laws, policies, rules, and regulations. This includes complying with the rules and regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency. The services will consist of: Four (4) leak proof, roll-off type trash containers (30-40 cubic yards) for collection and removal of all solid waste located near Food Service and the Garage; Two (2) open containers (30 cubic yards) for collection and removal of all construction materials and scrap metals near the Garage. Loading and unloading will be accomplished by the contractor. The Government shall have the right to inspect any disposal site where solid waste and metal is disposed of without prior notification. NOTE: FCI Loretto shall not be without a solid waste container/dumpster to place trash and other solid waste, while one is being emptied. Services will be performed for individuals who are in the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 29, 2017, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov.
