Cosmetology Program - FCI Waseca

The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the provision of an Occupational Training Program - Cosmetology Program (Instructor) for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Institution - Waseca, located in Waseca, Minnesota. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in award of a single indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a 12 month period, and the possibility of four 12 month option periods.. The estimated quantities include 1,440 sessions for the base year, and for each of the four possible option periods. The post-secondary, vocational training or industry-based school that will be responsible for providing instruction in cosmetology shall provide a Minnesota licensed instructor qualified to teach cosmetology classes that meet primary Bureau of Prisons program objectives as of accreditation/certification. The solicitation will be available on or about July 23, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov.
