Burial/Mortician Services

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon, intends to issue Request for Quote, #RFQP06121300012 for the provision of Burial Services and if needed transportation charges. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed prices. The responsible quoter shall be licensed with the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board. The contract period shall consist of a base period of the Effective Date of Award through 12 months, with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812210; the small business size standard is 7.0 million. The Government will award to the responsible party whose quote conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government based on best value. Best value will be determined by evaluating each quotation for both of the following elements: price and past performance. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.sam.gov .
