03/07/2017: Posted RFQ and attachments ********** The Federal Bureau of Prisons (Bureau) is an agency of the Department of Justice (DOJ). It consists of 122 institutions throughout the United States, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico; 6 regional offices, a Central Office (headquarters), 2 staff training centers, and 26 Residential Reentry Management offices. The Bureau is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to establish a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery requirements-type contract for roofing supplies. The contract award will have a potential term of 5 years, consisting of a one year base period and 4 option year periods. Contract performance will be monitored throughout the duration and reported in the Contractor Performance Assessment Reports System. The quoter must provide the following 8 products and training. The government will use an "acceptable or unacceptable" evaluation of the responses: CLEANER; PRIMER; BASE COAT; POLYESTER FABRIC, 40 inch; POLYESTER FABRIC, 20 inch; POLYESTER FABRIC, 12 inch; POLYESTER FABRIC, 6 inch; and Epoxy Top Coat-ELASTROMETRIC EPOXY OVERLAY. This requirement will be solicited to small businesses. Faith-based and Community Organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau. The solicitation is anticipated to be available on March 7, 2017, with a closing date for receipt of quotes on March 27, 2017 at 5:00 PM ET.
