CRANE INSPECTIONS

The NIST Center for Neutron Research at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for frequent and annual crane inspection services. The specific tasks pursuant to this maintenance is described in the Performance Work Statement included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about May 26, 2009 as 100% small business set-aside, using FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government anticipates the award of a fixed price Purchase Order on or about June 30, 2009 with a 12-mo. performance period and (4) 12-mo. option periods. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant Purchase Order.
