Foreign Affairs Counter Threat Training

The Foreign Service Institute and Diplomatic Security have collaboratively developed security- and scenario-based training exercises to be held on the final day of the weeklong Foreign Affairs Counter Threat (FACT) course. This day-long series of exercises is the practical application of essential information, skills, and experiences learned during the week-long course so that students may achieve optimum security while advancing the foreign policy objectives of the United States in high-threat posts. The exercise is offered at the DS Interim Training Facility (ITF) in Summit Point, West Virginia.
