Agency: U.S. State Department, Foreign Service Institute (FSI), Arlington, VA 22204 Set aside: Total Small Business This is a combined synopsis/solicitation number SFSIAQ17Q4010 for lodging that meets the following requirements: Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN Dates: March 13, 2017 - March 18, 2017 (5 nights) Number of rooms: 27 Extra rooms/nights: quote shall also include the price for 1 room for 2 extra nights in the event those extra nights are required by someone in the party of 27 guests Room rate: must be no higher than the U.S. Government lodging rate (before applicable taxes, if any) Meeting room: required on Friday March 17, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm local time where 27 people can comfortably sit. The room shall also have a table. Other: o must be located within easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and other food establishments o must be located in a safe location with well-lighted streets and sidewalks and easy access to covered sky walkways o the lodging property must have an area for boarding and unloading a coach-size charter bus SAM Registration: to be considered for award, offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) Price validity: quote must be valid for 30 days Quotations: The quote must be submitted on company letterhead showing the requested prices for this requirement and a description of how your establishment meets the requirement of: 1) easy walking proximity to multiple restaurants and food establishments, 2) being located in a safe part of downtown Minneapolis, MN, 3) providing the meeting room described above and 4) having an area on property for boarding and unloading a charter bus. The quote must include the phone number and email of a point of contact and the address of your proposed location. Quotes must be emailed to Robert Datoc at datocra@state.gov before the closing date and time of the solicitation and include the solicitation number in the subject line of the email. FSI intends to make one award directly with the proposed venue that is a small business and quotations from third party vendors will not be considered. The anticipated award date is February 14, 2017. Basis for Award and Evaluation Criteria: FSI will award one purchase order resulting from this RFQ in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106 to the responsible small business offeror conforming to all requirements in this RFQ that is the lowest price. FSI will utilize hotel reviews and other information found on travel websites, e.g., TripAdvisor.com, to help verify whether an offeror's quotation meets all of the requirements of this RFQ.
