HydrProcessed Depolymerized Cellulosic Diesel

This is solicitation SP0600-13-R-0705 issued in support of the Navy Energy's Strategy - to test and certify fuels created from domestically produced, environmentally friendly, sustainable, renewable sources for inclusion into its MIL-DTL-16684 (F-76) specification. The objective of this effort is to demonstrate the operational performance, safety, suitability and effectiveness of the fuel in order to obtain approval for use as a drop-in replacement for conventional F-76. HDCD 76 shall consist predominantly of cyclic alkanes and aromatics produced from the thermal and/or thermo catalytic depolymerization and deoxygenation of cellulosic materials and subsequent hydroprocessing.
