03/22/2016 - Modified to revise the issue date to 3/28/2016 and revise the closing date until 04/28/2016 and to advise a Type 1(T) 84 months non-extendable shelf life is required. All other terms and conditions remain the same. This agency proposes to issue solicitation SPE4A6-16-R-0397 for a long-term strategic contract which includes NSN 5342-00-543-3867 to support weapon systems 23N/ operational platform OHIO CLASS SSBN TRIDENT AIRCRAFT. A total of 1 NSN is targeted for this contract effort. It is anticipated that SPEC NR MIL-M-19863D, NOT 1 . Rev D, dtd 10/03/2006, PART NUMBER 5B5000H-6BOLT will be priced for the initial contract award. The proposed action is intended to be awarded as a competitive 100% Small Business set aside. The proposed contract will be for a total 5 year period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR Part 15 effort. The proposed contract will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract IAW FAR 16.103. NSN 5342-00-543-3867 has been identified for this current action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. This will be a competitive awarded contract and best value selection methods will be used. The Government will award a single contract for this action.
