A 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation will be issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 1560-00-792-2397, a DUCT ASSEMBLY, COOLER. The award will be for a 5-year base period. The Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ) is 16 EACH. Production units will be FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin. Item is critical, but not deemed a Critical Safety Item. IUID and Export Control applies. Surge requirements do not apply. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. This item has an AMC / AMSC of 1 / C IAW Boeing (CAGE 81205), part number 35-14266-2, a DUCT ASSEMBLY, COOLER the WSDC: 04F (B-52 Aircraft). Approved sources are Handy Tool (CAGE 91750), Infinity Fabrication (CAGE 06DM5), DJ Engineering (CAGE 0C7H8), Volumatic, Inc. (CAGE 1P642), FMW, Inc. (CAGE 1QJK4) and Malones CNC Machining (CAGE 2V045). DLA Aviation does not have a complete technical data package available for this item. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
