The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 2 National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for use on multiple weapon systems programs. The highest priority weapon system is 80A Truck Vehicle System 1 Ton. Both doors are Critical Items (CI), require origin inspection and First Article Testing. This procurement will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three-year base period and two, one year, option periods. Options are exercised at the discretion of the government. The total duration based plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Items may be shipped to various stock CONUS locations. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the Request for Proposal (RFP). Contractors are required to have access to classified data. The level of security clearance and document Safeguarding/storage facility clearance needed by the contractors is "Secret" for both items. The security clearance and safeguarding level must be to the maximum level required by the classified data. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and Business Size Standard: NAICS 336112 and number of employees 1500. Type of Set-Aside: 100% Small Business Full and Open Competition After the Exclusion of Sources 10 U.S.C. 2304. Freight on Board (FOB) Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance points will be on the RFP. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 04/17/2017. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
