There are no new requirements concerning solicitation SPE7LX-16-R-0195. An award for the requirements occurred 12/24/17. The purpose of this notice is to allow the issuance of a redacted J & A and Award Notice. The information below was the original notice. The purpose of this announcement is to advertise Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land & Maritime is soliciting for a long term contract for axle parts. The attachment lists the subject NSNs, annual demand quantities, NAICS and AMC/AMSC codes. The requirements are for the acquisition of axle parts which support Mine Resistant Ambush Protected armored vehicles and other army vehicles. An Indefinite Quantity Long-Term Contract with a three-year base period and two one-year option periods is anticipated. The total duration of the contract will not exceed five years. The solicitation will be issued according to FAR Part 12 procedures. Hard copies are not available. CLINs, quantity ranges and delivery schedules will be stated in the Request for Proposal (RFP). FOB destination is required. Inspection and Acceptance requirements will be included in the solicitation. This acquisition is for a supply for which the government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the government intends to solicit and contract with the only approved source. Approved source for the subject NSNs is AxleTech International LLC (CAGE 3D6E9). Proposals from approved dealers will be accepted. Solicitation will be unrestricted under Other Than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a) The solicitation will be available on or about January 2017 at: https: https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/.
