The proposed procurement is being amended and RESOLICITED AS A FAR 15 UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT for one (1) NSN [2530-01-179-1416 (Arm Assembly, Pivot), an item with drawing(s). Unit of issue is Each (EA). Other Than Full and Open Competition applies. All responsible sources may submit an offer / quote, which shall be considered. The Government has rights to the technical data; therefore, specifications, plans or drawings are available and will be posted with the solicitation. Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Contract. This proposed procurement is for a three-year base period and two options. Items are for stock and will be shipped to DLA stocking locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as-needed basis. The total shall not exceed five (5) years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will open on or about July 13, 2021. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the amended solicitation. The amended solicitation will not be available until the issue date at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
