When issued the Solicitation/Request for Proposal can be found on the DSCC Bid website at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 2530-015218242. This will be solicited as an Indefinite Quantity Long Term Contract containing a firm fixed-price with a 1 year base and 2 1-year option periods not to exceed 3 years. The solicitation will be Unrestricted with Other than Full and Open Competition. Solicitation will be issued using FAR Part 12 Commercial Items. NSN is part of the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program and will be solicited as FOB Origin and I/A Destination using military packaging. Various Incremental quantities will be solicited. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
