FDT Applies Contractor First Article Testing is required. The Government's required delivery for sources waived from FAT is 120 days. The Government's required delivery for sources not waived from FAT is 195 days. The scope of this acquisition if for a firm fixed price Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for NSN 5985-01-581-8182. The Government is pursuing this IQC for 1 year base period and 4, one year options. The total contract value is estimated not to exceed $1,516,461. At the time of solicitation there is one NSN being procured and managed by one Inventory Control Point (ICP) - DLA Land and Maritime. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources and their suppliers under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This solicitation is an RFP and will be available at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on or around October 2019. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance as described in the solicitation.
