The subject requirement is for the acquisition of 2 National Stock Number (NSN). The item supports the Truck, Vehicle System High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV). This will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with a three year base period and two, one year, option periods. Options are exercised at the discretion of the government. The total duration based plus option years shall not exceed 5 years. Items may be shipped to various stock locations within CONUS and OCONUS. Increments and delivery schedule will be noted on the Request for Proposal (RFP). Freight on Board (FOB) Origin is required. Inspection/Acceptance points will be on the RFP. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services.
