METALS: FSC 9540

DLA Troop Support is considering an acquisition for 207 NSNs in Federal Stock Class 9540 for an IDIQ long-term contract with a one (1) year base period and four (4) one (1) year options. A list of the NSNs and Annual Estimated Quantities are listed as an attachment. Vendors must be QSLD certified for bulk metals. This acquisition is for FOB Destination deliveries with material being delivered to Stock Depots in Tracy, CA and New Cumberland, PA. Material will also be delivered to the following Inventory Management & Stock Positioning (IMSP) locations: (1) DLA Warner Robbins SS&D, (2) Tinker Air Force Base, OK, (3) Hill Air Force Base, UT, (4) DLA Aviation Customer Operations at Cherry Point, NC, (5) DLA Aviation Customer Operations at Jacksonville, FL, and (6) DLA Aviation Customer Operations at San Diego, CA. The required delivery schedule will be 21 days. Pricing will be submitted for the base year only. An EPA will be applied to the option years. Only FOB Destination pricing will be acceptable. Please note that the annual estimates may be revised at the time of the solicitation to provide the most accurate and up to date information possible. Once issued, the solicitation will be posted on DIBBS, https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will then be able to submit a proposal which shall be considered by DLA Troop Support. This solicitation will be evaluated on an all or nothing basis. Award will be made on a Best Value Trade-Off basis. The official technical requirements will be included in any solicitation.
