Engine for 3kW Tactical Quiet Generator (TQG)

This solicitation is for a Yanmar diesel engine model L70N6EZ0T9EAFD, 1 cylinder, 0.32 liter, 6.7 HP, NSN: 2815-01-660-5994, P/N: 98-19521, which powers the 3 kW Tactical Quiet Generators (TQGs). DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about January 17th, 2019, for the engine for the 3kW TQG. The contract action is for a five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), type of contract with a maximum of $4,000,000, and a guaranteed minimum of $50,000. The RFP will be full and open competition after exceptions and will be 100% Small business set-aside. FAR Part 13.5 will apply to this Acquisition.
