AUDIT SERVICES FOR ECUADOR GRANTEE RECIPIENTS

The Inter-American Foundation (IAF), through the Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt, intends to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for audit services of IAF grantees in Ecuador, resulting in time-and-materials and/or fixed-price labor-hour task orders. Among the Grant Auditor requirements, the Contractor shall be a licensed accountant, accounting firm or organization with a full-time physical presence in Ecuador, and have legal status to operate in Ecuador for the duration of the contract. The Contractor (including staff) shall have language proficiency in Spanish. Among the tasks the Auditor will perform are the following: conduct audits in accordance with the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), and conduct orientation/initial assessments of grantees receiving IAF funds. The grant auditors must be able to travel to remote parts of Ecuador to conduct fieldwork at grantees' locations. The contract will be for a base period and four one-year option periods. Entre los requerimientos del Auditor de Donaciones, el Contratista ser una firma contable, contador, u organizaci n de auditor a autorizada para ejercer que cuente con presencia f sica a tiempo completo en Ecuador, y tendr condici n jur dica que le permita operar en todo Ecuador durante la vigencia del contrato. El Contratista (y su personal) deber tener fluidez en el idioma espa ol. Entre las tareas el Auditor realizar , se encuentran las siguientes: auditorias de acuerdo con los normas de auditoria gubernamental generalmente aceptadas (GAGAS) y orientaci n/evaluaciones iniciales a proyectos que la IAF financia. El Auditor debe tener una presencia f sica a tiempo completo en Ecuador.
