S--Solid Waste Collection Scheduled Solid Waste Pick Up, Hauling, and Disposal

The Government intends to award a contract for Solid Waste Collection Services, which includes scheduled Trash/Waste pick-ups, hauling, and disposal services from date of award for one year plus four additional option years. Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, and equipment necessary to collect and dispose of garbage, debris, and other discarded solid waste , in accordance with all terms, conditions, and schedules. Applicable NAICS code is 562111, Solid Waste Collection. A solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov under the same solicitation number. Performance will be at three (3) Department of Veterans Affairs locations as follows: the Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428; the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, 3100 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH 45220; and the Fort Thomas VA Nursing Home Care Unit and Domiciliary, 1000 South Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY 41075. This procurement shall be procured and awarded using definite delivery, commercial item procedures. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be acquired using procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13, and will utilize source selection procedures from FAR Part 15. Potential offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation documents online. Solicitation documents will be available on or about August 21, 2009, with the solicitation due date being approximately 10 days later. All responsible offerors are invited to submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. It is the responsibility of the offerors to check the web site periodically for any amendments/notices to the solicitation. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Lack of registration in the CCR database on the part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award.
