99--Solid Waste Disposal

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Illiana Health Care Systems, VA Medical Center, 1900 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois. Intent to Sole Source procurement under authoriy of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with Brickyard Disposal and Recycling Inc, 600 Brickyard Road, Danville, Illinois to provide all sanitary landfill space for disposal of IHCS municipal solid waste (MSW) in Vermillion County Illinois and the landfill operator will be licensed by the state of Illinois to accept MSW. The proposed action is for the supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government beleives that only one responsible source can provide and supply services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone request will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines it can meet the Governments requirements may give written notification trhough email to Contracting Officer, hope.cassady@va.gov, by September 26, 2009, 12:00PM CST.Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with requirements at no cost or obligations to the government, however the information recieved will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competive procurement. If no responses are received, the VA Medical Center. Danville Illinois will proceed to sole source this requirement to Brickyard Disposal & Recycling.
