Q--Residential Facility

The Amarillo VA Health Care System (AVAHCS) has a requirement for providing residential therapeutic and rehabilitative services. The Contractor shall furnish all facilities, labor, equipment, supplies, expertise, supervision, etc., to provide these services. The facility must be within 25 miles of the AVAHCS in order to coordinate transportation/travel. The estimated contract period shall be for a base year, estimated to be October 1, 2008 through Sept. 30, 2009, with four one year options, subject the availability of funds. The procurement is conducted under the authority listed in FAR Part 13. The applicable NAICS Code is 623990 and the size standard is $6.5 million dollars. The solicitation will be released on or about August 22, 2008 and due date is September 18, 2008, by 4:00PM local time.
