Q--Interim contract for Interventional Heart Services February 1, 2010 through July 31, 2010

The Department of Veterans' Affairs, Phoenix VA Health Care System intends to solicit and negotiate a sole source requirement contract on an interim basis with St. Luke's Medical Center to provide a surgical department for interventional heart procedures. The proposed interim contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 2:00 pm local time, 5 Feb 10, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
