Provide Professional Design services for various Roofing System projects at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. This is a request for Standard Form 330, not a request for proposal. The Area of consideration is restricted to 100 miles of Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois. The following information is provided in accordance with FAR, 36.602-1: Selection criteria will be based on: (1) specialized experience and technical competence of the firm (including a joint venture or association) with the type of design required, and with special emphasis on field personnel to be utilized (2) specific experience and qualifications of personnel proposed for assignment to the project, (3) Professional capacity of the firm in the designated geographic area of the project to perform work, (4) Past record of performance on contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs, (5) Geographic location and facilities of the working office(s), (6) Demonstrated success in prescribing the use of recovered materials and achieving waste reduction and energy efficiency in facility design and (7) Construction cost control effectiveness. NAICS code 541330 applies. No bid packages are available. This is NOT a request for proposal. This advertisement is for an open-ended contract 2. The successful A/E may be requested to provide some or all of the professional services necessary for the completion of Task Order projects issued under the resulting Open-ended contract. Services shall be provided for one (1) year, with the option to extend two (2) additional years for multi-discipline architectural engineering consultant services. For any one project, a work order will be issued not to exceed $150,000, and the total cumulative contract amount for work orders shall not exceed a maximum of $900,000. Issuance of a work order shall not be affected until agreement has been reached by the Architect / Engineer and Contracting Officer. Work to be performed shall begin after issuance of the work order.
