FEED TRAY IS A CLOSE TOLERANCE MACHINED PART FROM STEEL ALLOY 4130, 4140, AUSTENITIZE, QUENCH, TEMPER TO A HARDNESS OF 32 TO 38 ROCKWELL AND CHROMIUM PLATE IN MARKED AREAS. THE APPROXIMATE SIZE IS 7.35 IN LONG X 5.15 IN X 0.50 IN THICK. END ITEM IS MK19. Requirement is for a 3 year IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) contract with a guaranteed minimum contract quantity of 700 EACH and maximum contract quantity of 5,000 EACH, FEED TRAY. FOB is Destination. For use on MK19 Machine Gun. Estimated solicitation issue date is 7 October 2008. The response date listed is an ESTIMATE ONLY. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY09 requirement. It is anticipated that award of this acquisition will not be based on price alone. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the offeror with the lowest price or the highest rated (lowest risk) offer. See Section L and Section M of the solicitation, once posted, for additional information. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
