NA Description: Requirement will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for M240E Bipod, Machine Gun to be awarded as a 3 year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price contract. The item to be procured is: Bipod, Machine Gun, NSN 1005-01-565-6692 and Part Number 13013483. The Lower Left Leg Assembly is used on the 7.62MM, M240 Machine Gun. The parts include (1) Left Foot, (P/N 13001501), (1) Gusset, (P/N 13001499), (1) Latch Housing, (P/N 13001500) and (1) Lower Tube, (13001497). The parts are machined, formed and welded together from Aluminum Alloy 6061, per ASTM B210, and Heat Treated after welding to Temper T-6 and with a protective finish 7.5.2 of Mil-Std-171, color black. Guaranteed minimum quantities will be stated in the solicitation. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or before 16 February 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. A License Agreement between FN Herstal, S.A. and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. A Non-Disclosure and Non-Use Agreement must be completed and returned prior to any TDP request. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: ROCK-TACOM-tdp@CONUS.army.mil. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number.
