R--TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement to provide Technical Support Services to include: Senior Software Technical Architect, Database Administration Planning & Design, Database Administration, Database Systems Administration, Application Development Programmer, and Application Programmer Support Services for the Tele-medicine and Technology Research Center (TATRC). These services will assist TATRC in providing operation, maintenance, and security of the TATRC servers, workstations, and networking equipment and supplying network connectivity, operational services, technical support, user access control, and operational security. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with (IAW) applicable laws, policies, regulations and Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor personnel shall have a variety of skill sets as stated in the PWS. The positions will be located at various sites within the Commands. This requirement is set-aside for Services-Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) _competitive solicitation under the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 541511 with a size standard of $25 million. USAMRAA intends to award a single award firm-fixed price Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with individual task orders to include a one-year base period and 4 one-year option periods at Ft. Detrick, MD. The closing date for receipt of proposals is 14 September 2011 at 3:00 P.M. EST. The solicitation will be posted on or about 24 August 2011 in the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov and also on www.usamraa.army.mil , click on the solicitations. No solicitations will be accepted by hard copy. All offerors are responsible for checking for amendments to the solicitation from the Internet. The contractor's responsibility is to ensure that the request for proposal (RFP) is received from the Internet accurately and in its entirety.
