V--Lodging and conference services - Kansas, MO

The Army Contracting Command- NJ intends to solicit & award an acquisition for lodging and conference services in the Kansas, MO area. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide the requested services. The period of performance for this effort is from 7 Feb- 10 Feb 2013. The resultant contract is anticipated to be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract. This acquisition is issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside under the primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 721110 and the related small business size standard of $30 million. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a request for quote/proposal. Solicitation Number W911S1-13-T-0054 is assigned for reference purposes. The entire solicitation will be made available on or about 11 Jan 2013 via the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The required response date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-62. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates, or changes to the solicitation. Please be advised that hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available; you must download solicitation documents from the ASFI. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code, and register in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number, a CAGE code and register in the SAM may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror.
